Spring FundraiserBetween now and June 10th, the Pine Hill CSA is looking for donations in any amount to help raise $25,000 to ensure ongoing program support for this year and next year. These funds will go directly towards enrichment for our children, including the Broadmoor partnership, teacher grants and stipends, class projects, grade-level enrichment and All School Meeting performances. Please consider a contribution of $100 for each Pine Hill child in your family.

Author Gregory Mone Visits 5th GradeOn April 28th, Pine Hill 5th Graders enjoyed a presentation by author Gregory Mone. Gregory shared with our students how he began his early writing career and his collaboration efforts with Bill Nye the Science Guy. Our students shared some of their writing processes and found many connections with Gregory. After the presentation each class had the opportunity to meet with him in their classroom and work on some writing exercises. |

DS Soccer Summer Clinics Registration!DS Soccer Club in collaboration with with the Anthony Rougier Sport Foundation welcomes all Dover Sherborn Soccer Club members to join him for his second annual soccer clinics! Register for as many weeks as you like. Four hours of soccer with a lunch break in between. Ages: 6-16
Location: Laurel Fields, Sherborn
Times: Sessions from 9:00am – 11:00am, 11:30-1:30pm (Lunch break 11-11:30am)

Would Like to Hear from YouSherborn has initiated a search for a new Town Administrator and has hired MRI Consultants to assist with the search. As part of the process, the consultants have been interviewing various members of the town's administration and employees. |

The Town Administrator Search Committee and the consultants would like to hear from the citizens of Sherborn as well. It is strictly an information-gathering activity and they will be looking for comments on these items: Desirable traits and characteristics of an ideal Town Administrator Ideal Candidate profile in terms of education, prior experience, and skills Challenges of facing the town (now and in the future)

Raising Healthy Kids in a Culture of Dependence with Jessica LaheyDover-Sherborn Challenge Success is delighted to welcome back New York Times bestselling author, educator, and D-S alumna Jessica Lahey to discuss her newest book The Addiction Inoculation: Raising Healthy Kids in a Culture of Dependence.
Wednesday, May 11, 2022 | 7 – 8:30 p.m. via Zoom
All children, regardless of their genetics, are at some risk for addiction—to alcohol and illicit substances, overuse or harmful use of social media, or other maladaptive and injurious behaviors. Jessica Lahey helps parents, caregivers, and educators understand the roots of addictive behaviors and identify who is most at risk for addiction while offering evidence-based strategies and practical tools adults need to understand, support, and educate resilient, addiction-resistant children. Her guidelines are age-appropriate and actionable—navigating a child’s risk for addiction, interpreting signs of early misuse, advice for broaching difficult conversations with children, why developing brains are especially at risk, and the mental health roots of these issues.
This program is a collaboration between Dover-Sherborn Challenge Success and Natick 180, with support from SPARK Kindness.
