Aesop’s Fable Book Fair - March 7-10, 2022

Pine Hill Book Fair starts today! You can visit the store to browse in person 10-5 p.m. Get your kids excited about reading by letting them pick out their own books. You can reserve a private shopping time for your family after hours by calling the store.

And of course, you can always shop the entire selection of books online using the link below.

Make sure to check out your teacher's wish list. Support the CSA, build our classroom libraries and get everyone in the family reading!

DS Challenge Success Film Screening:
Chasing Childhood

Please join Dover-Sherborn Challenge Success for a film screening and panel discussion of Chasing Childhood.

As the world reopens, there’s never been a better time for us to come together to ask ourselves: What do kids need most to thrive? Chasing Childhood examines how free play and independence have all but disappeared from kids’ lives, supplanted by relentless perfectionism and record high levels of anxiety and depression. The film spotlights experts and families who are empowering young people to explore their independence, enjoy unstructured time, and be free to thrive.

DSHS INVITES YOU TO “BE OUR GUEST”

Dover-Sherborn High School is excited to bring the enchanted world of Disney's Beauty and the Beast to the stage in Mudge Auditorium. Singing teapots and candlesticks, an evil spell, and an unlikely love story are all part of the magic of this modern Broadway classic. This "tale as old as time" is filled with spectacular song and dance routines, elaborate make-up techniques, eye-catching costumes, and a magical set. In addition, there will be an art exhibit in the cafeteria for viewing before the show and during intermission. The Art Show will feature the artwork of students from all four schools in the district – DS High School, DS Middle School, Pine Hill, and Chickering.

“Be Our Guest” and experience the enchantment of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at Dover-Sherborn Mudge Auditorium! The musical is sure to be entertaining for all ages and provides a great opportunity to bring the entire community together for family theatre at its best.

Show dates are: Thursday, March 17th at 6:30pm, Friday, March 18th at 7:30pm, a Saturday matinee on March 19th at 1:00pm, and an evening performance at 7:30pm.

Pine Hill Cat Yearbook Submissions

After the success of the Pine Hill Dog Yearbook, the next issue will feature the Pine Hill Cat Yearbook. Students and staff are invited to share a photo of their cat(s). Please include cat name, student name, grade, and teacher. Submissions are due by April 11th, 2022. Email photos to Mr. Randa at randac@doversherborn.org.

How You Can Get Involved

It's almost that time of year... raffle baskets!!!

The raffle drawing will be held on Thursday, April 14th. We're looking for donations.

There are two classes 'sponsoring' each basket, but please donate to whichever baskets you would like to (you can donate to multiple baskets too). Thank you SO much! The kids LOVE the raffle baskets!
