Pine Hill CSA
End of Year Party

Friday, June 2
5-7:30 p.m.

Pine Hill is wrapping up the school year with a fun for all end of year party. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and celebrate the end of another fantastic school year with the CSA!!!

We’ll have a bouncy house, a giant slide, lawn games, prizes, ice cream, cotton candy, conga lines and groovy tunes from everyone’s favorite DJ Mike! Break out your favorite summer party gear and get your tickets for the shindig of the season!

Tickets will be $15 per child (adults are free), with a $45 max per family. This is not a drop-off event.

If cost poses a hardship, please email Dr. Brown (brownb@doversherborn.org) to have the fee covered.

Bring the family and stop by one of the food trucks that will be on site for the event.

David Coffin Performs at All School Meeting!

Musician, performer, and music-educator David Coffin performed his "Life at Sea" program on May 12th. David is a maritime specialist and descendant of some of America's greatest seafaring families - the whaling Coffins of Nantucket. David captivated the students with his harpoon, concertina, and his larger-than-life singing voice.

Students were transported back to 18th century Nantucket, to the days of his ancestors who settled there in 1659. David took students on a journey “around the Horn” to the Pacific whaling grounds through lively anecdotes and participatory songs. The students enjoyed singing traditional sea shanteys and dance songs sailors sang in the doldrums.

FALL 2023 FIELD HOCKEY REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Calling all who are new to field hockey, come try this fun and exciting sport! DS Youth Field Hockey is an athletic program for kids in Dover and Sherborn in grades 1st - 8th grade. All experience levels are welcome!

The DSYFH program offers teams in the following grade divisions: 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th.

Early Bird Pricing available through the end of May!

GUIDANCE ADVISORY COUNCIL SEEKS NEW REPRESENTATIVES FOR 2023-2024

The Guidance Advisory Council (GAC) is seeking new members for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year. The Council will have openings in grades 6-12. The GAC is comprised of three parent representatives per grade who serve as liaisons between the DS Middle/High School communities and the Guidance Department. The GAC also supports programs and services offered by the Guidance Department. Please click here to see a more detailed description of the roles and responsibilities of GAC members.

GAC members must commit to serve a two-year term and attend all five Council meetings that occur throughout the year, generally September, November, January, March and May as well as at least one grade level Guidance event.

If you are interested in being considered for the Council, please fill out the following application form and submit it no later than May 26, 2023.

Dover Sherborn Youth Lacrosse Presents Pre-K and K Spring Lacrosse Powered by Scoops Lacrosse Saturday Mornings at 10 AM

Spring Lacrosse for Pre-K and Kindergarten!

Scoops Lacrosse is an introductory lacrosse program open to boys and girls in Pre-K and Kindergarten. Scoops help kids, players, teammates, and individuals on and off the field. By focusing on the fun in fundamentals, Scoops classes are designed to ensure the game of lacrosse is learned the right way. We work with kids looking to have a blast while learning the awesome sport of lacrosse. Register Now

You can use a range of watercraft from Mid June to Labor Day. We have fun, family friendly events through-out the season, youth sailing school, adult classes or private lessons available! Learn more here.

Summer Soccer Clinics

The Dover Sherborn Soccer Club in collaboration with the Anthony Rougier Sport Foundation will again be offering a series of soccer clinics this summer. Sign up for as many sessions as you would like.
