CSA Fundraising Update

Thanks to our Pine Hill Community, the CSA was able to facilitate raising approximately $260 through the Papa Gino’s Event and $11,000 through the Pine Hill 5k! All of this funding is applied to programming across grade levels. Well done, team!

The Dogs of Pine Hill Yearbook

Calling all Dogs! The Pine Hill Press is looking for students to submit photos for "The Dogs of Pine Hill Yearbook" in December’s edition.

Email your photos to Mr. Randa randac@doversherborn.org include the dog’s name, student’s name, grade, and classroom.

Physical photos can be submitted in the mailbox in the lobby and can be returned after being scanned (please include student name and classroom on the back).

Deadline is December 15th.

How You Can Get Involved

Pine Hill Coat Drive: Seeking Youth and Adult Coat Donations

Have your children outgrown their winter coats? Have you been meaning to prune your overstuffed coat closet? Please donate your old coats for a good cause.

Pine Hill School is hosting a drop bin for the Coats For Kids & Families Program sponsored by Jordan's Furniture. There will be a donation bin in the school lobby. We will be collecting coats through December 23, 2021.

This philanthropic initiative is aimed at collecting and donating gently-used, like-new, and new quality winter garments for both children and adults to families in-need through a wide network of social service agencies. All coats are professionally cleaned and sanitized by Anton’s prior to distribution. Donated items are provided to families in-need in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Maine.

The 2021-22 Pine Hill Digital Directory is now available! The digital directory may be accessed on any mobile device from the DirectorySpot app or on the DirectorySpot website anytime you need to find class lists or contact information for a classmate, friend, or teacher. The online directory costs $15 per household and directly supports curriculum enrichment programs, materials, and equipment that improve student learning.

What’s Happening In Our Community

Boy’s Basketball Fundraiser

Friday November 5: Preseason Clinic to be held at the Dover-Sherborn High School Gym for Grades 3-5: 5pm-6pm and Grades 6-8: 6pm-7pm. $20 donation (To be collected on the day of the clinic) Register for Pre-Season Clinic Contact Rick Grady (grady_richard@doversherborn.org) with questions.

Bogastow Ski Team

Get ready to think snow! Registration is now open for skiers age 7+. Team practices will be Wednesdays evenings 6:00-8:00 PM at Nashoba Valley. Races take place Sunday mornings at several local MA ski areas. Details and race information can be found at here.
