What You Need To Know

Pine Hill Ice Cream Social

The Pine Hill CSA is happy to welcome all K-5 Pine Hill students for our annual Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, September 14, from 5 - 6:30pm at the front playground. This event is free of charge to Pine Hill students and families, and non-dairy treats will be available. We hope you can join us and we look forward to welcoming everyone back! This year’s race will be on Sunday, September 18, at 8:30am.

Race Bib/Shirt Pick Up Information:

Race number, shirts, and swag bag pick up will be available on two days:
– Friday, Sept.16: 4pm-6pm at the Pine Hill School Lobby
– Sunday, Sept.18: 7am – 8:15am at Pine Hill Lane

How You Can Get Involved

Calling All Parents & Caregivers!

Classroom Parent is a great way to be involved with your child's life at school and to also help out. Most of the work can be done remotely, and all info will be provided to help guide you. Classroom Parent Responsibilities:

Help your child’s teacher to organize classroom volunteering, and some communication to parents
Connect the CSA with the parents in your classroom
Support your classroom teacher by organizing teacher gifts
Act as a resource for new parents If you are a parent new to Pine Hill, this can still be you! Lots of info will be provided and it's a great way to get involved!

If you are interested in becoming a Classroom Parent email Liz Sarhaddi-Blue at volunteer@pinehillschoolcsa.org. Include your name, child's name, grade level, and teacher's name. Occasionally there are more volunteers than vacant slots. All assignments will be made on a first come, first served basis.

Calling all Girl Scouts, past, present and future!

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place! Sherborn Girl Scout troops are gearing up this fall, now is the time to register if you're a girl scout already.

If you’re interested in joining an established troop or starting a new Girl Scout troop for the 2022-2023 school year, please reach out to Crista Mahoney at crista.mahoney@gmail.com for more information. Come join the fun!

2022 Fishing for A Cause! Benefitting Home Base
Farm Pond
Sunday, October 9, 8am

Come out and enjoy the morning air on beautiful Farm Pond in Sherborn, MA! This event is open to everyone and is a great way to connect with people, connect to nature and support a great cause! Farm Pond is a treasured resource within the town of Sherborn and we will all have an opportunity to enjoy everything it has to offer! We are working to make this a fun event for the entire family, and there will be prizes! The Grand Prize will be tickets to a Red Sox game in the 2023 season! Register here.

Format: Games "SIXES"

Fall Hockey for Girls & Boys Ages 4 - 12

3 Programs - Great for beginners!

1. Learn to Play (LTP): for Ages: 4 – 12 (Limited to beginners)
2. Junior House League (formerly Advanced Learn to Play): Ages: 5 – 7 who have completed 1 year of Natick Comets Learn to Play or equivalent
3. House League: Ages: 8 – 12 who have completed at least one session of Learn to Play or equivalent

Dover Sherborn Girls Soccer DS Logo Driveway Fundraiser

Show your spirit and Raider pride by getting a DS logo painted on your driveway by your very own Lady Raiders!

All proceeds of the $50 fee go to support the DS Girls Soccer program.

3v3 Tournament to Benefit Grassroots Soccer

Let's support the youth in our community who are helping support the youth in the world at large. The Dover Sherborn Girls Varsity Soccer Team captains are hosting a 3v3 charity tournament September 18 benefitting GrassRoots Soccer. Grassroots Soccer is an adolescent health organization that leverages the power of soccer to educate, inspire, and mobilize at-risk youth in developing countries.

All kids in grades 5-12 are welcome to participate in the afternoon tournament on Sunday, September 18th at Dover Sherborn High School.

Register together as friends, teammates or siblings or individually to be paired with other players. $25 dollars/player or if you can't make it you can donate directly to the fund to help these leaders reach their $5,000 goal!

Please register early to allow time for brackets to be made- let's crush this together!

The Dover Sherborn Boosters Triathlon is back for 2022!

To make this event even more special, and to mark the 16th annual running of this race, we are dubbing this years event "The Sweet 16". The organizers of this race are honored to be your beloved September sprint distance triathlon and looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday, September 25 @ 8am.

Not running the race? Want to cheer on your fellow swimmers, bikers and runners? Want to give our athletes that extra push? Look no further than our sign up for all adult volunteers. Man a transition, pick from various sign ups, help setup on Saturday/Sunday or help clean up after the race.
