Monster Mash is Back!

Friday, October 22nd, 4:30-6:30 pm at Pine Hill Elementary

Get your tickets for the ghouliest and grooviest Pine Hill party of the year - the CSA Monster Mash!! This year, we'll be transforming the back playground into a costume dance party sensation - with DJ Mike on the spins and surprises to light up the night.

The party is outside, so we will need extra volunteers and everyone will want to dress for whatever the weather may be. Parents with younger children or a child that needs extra supervision are encouraged to stay (... and pull out some killer dance moves... preferably in costume).

Please also consider volunteering and/or donating tasty treats. Sign up when you purchase tickets.

Pine Hill Library Fall Volunteers

The Pine Hill Library is looking for help for an hour or two each day. Please add your name to one time slot per month to share the opportunity of volunteering with as many families as possible. Sign Up

Now Live - Pine Hill Digital Directory

The 2021-22 Pine Hill Digital Directory is now available! The digital directory may be accessed on any mobile device from the DirectorySpot app or on the DirectorySpot website anytime you need to find class lists or contact information for a classmate, friend, or teacher. The online directory costs $15 per household and directly supports curriculum enrichment programs, materials, and equipment that improve student learning.

Building a Library in Nepal

Fourth-grade teacher Ms. Courtney Young is currently a volunteer teacher at a school in Nepal that provides free quality education to underprivileged children from the remote hills of the Himalayas. She is raising funds to build a community library next to the school that will be open to everyone in the village. Learn more and contribute

Halloween Crafternoon
Halloween is almost here! On Wednesday, October 6, come make a stress ball from a balloon and corn starch to manage all that stress of waiting for candy. Drop-in any time between 1-4 p.m., supplies can be brought home as a make & take, too. Crafternoon Drop-Ins are held on Half-Day Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3-5 p.m. in October at the Sherborn Library. A different craft each week, work on the craft in the library or bring it home to do later. Craft books are available for check out.

Join fellow Sherborn residents for hors d’oeuvres and a friendly chat on the patio (near some heat lamps!). Rain date 11/4.

Friends of the Sherborn Library Trunk or Treat
Saturday, October 30, from 3-5 p.m. in the Pine Hill Parking Lot. Host a trunk and be part of this inaugural event. Prizes will be awarded for Spookiest Trunk, Best Book-Themed Trunk, Most Creative Trunk, Funniest Trunk, and more!
