We want to thank our Pine Hill bus drivers who go the extra mile taking care of our Pine Hill students on their way to and from school this year!!!

Pine Hill Lost + Found

Have you seen the new organized lost and found? Now consolidated to the front lobby and lovingly organized by one of our Pine Hill mothers. If you are missing an Item come on down!

Discovery Museum Visits Kindergarten

Educators from the Acton Discovery Museum brought the inspiring program “Force and Motion” to Pine Hill’s kindergarten classes.

Through this workshop, the kindergartners interacted with a variety of toys, balls and vehicles to explore how movement works in relation to objects. The students loved talking about gravity and enjoyed becoming engineers as they created toys out of limited items.

Pine Hill Cat Yearbook Submissions

After the success of the Pine Hill Dog Yearbook, the next issue will feature the Pine Hill Cat Yearbook. Students and staff are invited to share a photo of their cat(s). Please include cat name, student name, grade, and teacher. Submissions are due by April 11th, 2022. Email photos to Mr. Randa at randac@doversherborn.org.

How You Can Get Involved

Collecting Item Donations for Raffle Baskets!

We're gearing up for the raffle basket drawing on April 14th, but we need your help!

How It Works
First the CSA organizes donations of basket items. Second, the Pine Hill Community purchases Raffle tickets for each basket, and it culminates with a drawing conducted over the school announcement system! It’s one of the exciting spring events that our kids love!

There are two classes 'sponsoring' each basket. You can donate to whichever baskets you would like to - you can donate to multiple baskets too. There are baskets themed for slime, Legos, Summer, Wizards, Wheels & more!

Once the baskets are complete, they will be on display in the library toward the end of March,

Ways to Donate
• Donate Items to Baskets (you can regift, but only unopened and unused)
• Donate Money (funds will be used to fill some baskets that are low, OR, will be added directly to the fundraiser). Venmo @KatieGarvey27

Spring Cleaning? Save your stuff for the CSA!

In celebration of Earth Month, the CSA will be holding a Pop-up Swap Shop in April (think a giant, live "Buy Nothing" event).

Pine Hill parents are invited to bring in lightly grow-out-of gear, clothes, home goods, appliances, accessories, toys... whatever needs a new home! Attendees will be able to take whatever they can carry for a small entry fee.

More details to come, but as spring cleaning begins, please start a CSA donation pile for this fundraising event!

DSHS INVITES YOU TO “BE OUR GUEST”

Dover-Sherborn High School is excited to bring the enchanted world of Disney's Beauty and the Beast to the stage in Mudge Auditorium. Singing teapots and candlesticks, an evil spell, and an unlikely love story are all part of the magic of this modern Broadway classic. This "tale as old as time" is filled with spectacular song and dance routines, elaborate make-up techniques, eye-catching costumes, and a magical set. In addition, there will be an art exhibit in the cafeteria for viewing before the show and during intermission. The Art Show will feature the artwork of students from all four schools in the district – DS High School, DS Middle School, Pine Hill, and Chickering.

“Be Our Guest” and experience the enchantment of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at Dover-Sherborn Mudge Auditorium! The musical is sure to be entertaining for all ages and provides a great opportunity to bring the entire community together for family theatre at its best.

Show dates are: Thursday, March 17th at 6:30pm, Friday, March 18th at 7:30pm, a Saturday matinee on March 19th at 1:00pm, and an evening performance at 7:30pm.

FOTSL Trivia Night

Put on your smarty pants and join the Friends of the Sherborn Library for a return to our fun, annual event at the Sherborn Community Center!

You can purchase tickets to reserve your team table of 10 or purchase individual tickets and we'll find you a team/table when you arrive.

Tickets are $75/person and include dinner and beer/wine.
Doors open at 6:30 pm for food and drinks. Trivia begins at 7:30 pm.

Spring Field Hockey Clinics

Register for Spring Field Hockey Clinics for Grades K-5 this April & May. Try field hockey for the first time or dust off your stick to get ready for the Fall! The clinics will take place on Saturdays in April & May: 4/30, 5/7, 5/14 and 5/21 from 1:00-2:30 pm at the DS High School Turf. $40/per clinic - sign up for one, two, three or all four clinics.
