What You Need To Know

After a week of rainy & cold weather, Pine Fest kicked off underneath sunny skies and warm temps…and what an evening it was! The excitement of getting our Pine Hill community together was palpable and it was a true joy seeing 215 of you dressed up in your music festival finest eating, drinking & dancing the night away!

There’s more to come in the next few days including a fire sale on remaining silent auction items and a look at what is shaping up to be an incredibly successful fundraising effort!

SAVE THE DATE: The annual DS Family Barbecue, sponsored by the DS METCO program, is scheduled for June 4, 2023 (afternoon) at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline.

All DS Families, Teachers, and Staff are welcome to attend this fun event.

GUIDANCE ADVISORY COUNCIL SEEKS NEW REPRESENTATIVES FOR 2023-2024

The Guidance Advisory Council (GAC) is seeking new members for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year. The Council will have openings in grades 6-12. The GAC is comprised of three parent representatives per grade who serve as liaisons between the DS Middle/High School communities and the Guidance Department. The GAC also supports programs and services offered by the Guidance Department. Please click here to see a more detailed description of the roles and responsibilities of GAC members.

GAC members must commit to serve a two-year term and attend all five Council meetings that occur throughout the year, generally September, November, January, March and May as well as at least one grade level Guidance event.

If you are interested in being considered for the Council, please fill out the following application form and submit it no later than May 26, 2023.

Sherborn Library Arts & Crafts Fair

The Arts and Crafts Fair Returns to the Sherborn Library grounds in 2023! Join us on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 10 AM - 4 PM.

The 51st Anniversary of the Arts and Crafts Fair! The annual Sherborn Library Arts and Crafts Fair offers unique arts and crafts, beautiful plants, fun family and children’s activities, live entertainment, and delicious local food. It is a day to look forward to—families, friends, artisans, crafters and community groups from Sherborn and surrounding towns, join together for a festive spring day.

The Friends of the Sherborn Library are seeking plant donations dug from your very own garden for the Friends’ Plant Sale at the Sherborn Library Arts & Crafts Fair on May 13! Donations can include perennial and annual flowers and plants, bushes and shrubs, seedlings and saplings, houseplants, and vegetables and herbs. We are also happy to help you dig!

Plant donations can be made at the Sherborn Library on Friday, May 12, 12-4 pm, at the front green of the library next to Sanger Street - look for our tent set up. Please email us at sandrapburke@gmail.com if you have questions, requests for help digging, or would like to volunteer at the plant table on the day of the fair.

Septics 101 for Sherborn Homeowners

Dover Sherborn Youth Lacrosse Presents Pre-K and K Spring Lacrosse Powered by Scoops Lacrosse Saturday Mornings at 10 AM

Spring Lacrosse for Pre-K and Kindergarten!

Scoops Lacrosse is an introductory lacrosse program open to boys and girls in Pre-K and Kindergarten. Scoops help kids, players, teammates, and individuals on and off the field. By focusing on the fun in fundamentals, Scoops classes are designed to ensure the game of lacrosse is learned the right way. We work with kids looking to have a blast while learning the awesome sport of lacrosse. Register Now

2023 Membership & Youth Sailing School Registration Open

You can use a range of watercraft from Mid June to Labor Day. We have fun, family friendly events through-out the season, youth sailing school, adult classes or private lessons available! Learn more here.

Summer Soccer Clinics

The Dover Sherborn Soccer Club in collaboration with the Anthony Rougier Sport Foundation will again be offering a series of soccer clinics this summer. Sign up for as many sessions as you would like.
