Pine Hill CSA
End of Year Party

Friday, June 2
5-7:30 p.m.

Pine Hill is wrapping up the school year with a fun for all end of year party. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and celebrate the end of another fantastic school year with the CSA!!!

Siblings are welcome at this fun event!

We’ll have a bouncy house, a giant slide, lawn games, prizes, ice cream, cotton candy, conga lines and groovy tunes from everyone’s favorite DJ Mike! Break out your favorite summer party gear and get your tickets for the shindig of the season!

Tickets will be $15 per child (adults are free), with a $45 max per family. Tickets can also be purchased at the event.
Note: this is not a drop-off event.

If cost poses a hardship, please email Dr. Brown (brownb@doversherborn.org) to have the fee covered.

Bring the family and stop by one of the food trucks that will be on site for the event.

Kick off summer with food trucks, games, inflatables, and everyone's favorite DJ dance party!

Please consider donating beverages or volunteer your time at the event - see available slots by clicking below. Please drop beverages at the Pine Hill Front Desk between Tuesday, May 30th and Friday, June 2nd (day of party) between 8:20 am and 12:00 pm. We appreciate your help!

All students, families, faculty, staff, and alum are welcome to this annual district-wide get-together at Larz Anderson Park, in Brookline.

Blue Ribbon BBQ (meat and vegetarian options) provided with support by DS METCO and Boston Bridges Initiative.

Are you ready to clean out your bookshelves?

With so many teachers switching grade levels next year, we need to grow our classroom libraries.

You can help by donating gently used books that are appropriate for Grades K-5.

Donation bin is located outside Pine Hill School.

Friend of the Sherborn Library’s Book Sale June 2-4

Do you have ready-to-donate books for all ages in piles and bookcases all over your home?

The Friends of the Sherborn Library are collecting gently used books for their annual book sale, taking place June 2-4.

You can help by donating gently used books for readers of all ages.

Donations can be dropped off at the Sherborn Library through June 1 (deadline extended). All proceeds from the sale will support Library programming.

FALL 2023 FIELD HOCKEY REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Calling all who are new to field hockey, come try this fun and exciting sport! DS Youth Field Hockey is an athletic program for kids in Dover and Sherborn in grades 1st - 8th grade. All experience levels are welcome!

The DSYFH program offers teams in the following grade divisions: 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th.

Early Bird Pricing available through the end of May!

GUIDANCE ADVISORY COUNCIL SEEKS NEW REPRESENTATIVES FOR 2023-2024

The Guidance Advisory Council (GAC) is seeking new members for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year. The Council will have openings in grades 6-12. The GAC is comprised of three parent representatives per grade who serve as liaisons between the DS Middle/High School communities and the Guidance Department. The GAC also supports programs and services offered by the Guidance Department. Please click here to see a more detailed description of the roles and responsibilities of GAC members.

GAC members must commit to serve a two-year term and attend all five Council meetings that occur throughout the year, generally September, November, January, March and May as well as at least one grade level Guidance event.

If you are interested in being considered for the Council, please fill out the following application form and submit it no later than May 26, 2023.

2023 Membership & Youth Sailing School Registration Open

You can use a range of watercraft from Mid June to Labor Day. We have fun, family friendly events through-out the season, youth sailing school, adult classes or private lessons available! Learn more here.

Summer Soccer Clinics

The Dover Sherborn Soccer Club in collaboration with the Anthony Rougier Sport Foundation will again be offering a series of soccer clinics this summer. Sign up for as many sessions as you would like.
