What You Need To Know

Techsploration Energy & Electricity

On Friday, March 25th, the fourth-grade classes were treated to a wonderful program that included a show about electricity and circuit workshops from Tom Wahle at Techsploration. During the show, students learned about the different forms of energy including potential and kinetic energy as well as the basic laws of electricity and magnetism. They even got to see exciting demonstrations of a Van De Graff generator and a Tesla coil.

Pine Hill Cat Yearbook Submissions

After the success of the Pine Hill Dog Yearbook, the next issue will feature the Pine Hill Cat Yearbook. Students and staff are invited to share a photo of their cat(s). Please include cat name, student name, grade, and teacher. Submissions are due by April 11th, 2022. Email photos to Mr. Randa at randac@doversherborn.org.

Raffle Basket Tickets On Sale Now!

There are some great baskets up for grabs, which you can read about on our Fundraiser page. Filled baskets will be on display at school in the library for students to view. Drawing is on Thursday April 14th!

$1 for each Individual Ticket

After purchase, please use the link in the confirmation email to specify which baskets you would like your tickets applied to. You can indicate your free ticket preference as well.

Each student has one free ticket. For those who are only participating via the free ticket, and not purchasing any others, please use this form to indicate which basket you’d like to put your one free ticket.

In celebration of Earth Month, the CSA will be holding a community-wide Swap Shop. Donate lightly used items of all kinds to find a new happy home on April 8 & 9. Then, April 10th, pay a small family fee to browse goods and take what you can carry at no additional cost.

Spring Field Hockey Clinics

Register for Spring Field Hockey Clinics for Grades K-5 this April & May. Try field hockey for the first time or dust off your stick to get ready for the Fall! The clinics will take place on Saturdays in April & May: 4/30, 5/7, 5/14 and 5/21 from 1:00-2:30 pm at the DS High School Turf. $40/per clinic - sign up for one, two, three or all four clinics.
