A Few Spots Left for the Holiday Gift Drive!
This holiday season we are excited to launch our 4th Annual Holiday Gift Drive program to fulfill wishes for children in need. Every year, our Pine Hill community responds so generously to the gift drive and we’re truly proud that this has become an annual tradition!
We are partnering again with Project Just Because in Hopkinton, MA and the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) office in Framingham, MA. In addition, this year we’re supporting foster teens in Ascentria’s Unaccompanied Refugee Minor program. There are many local families that need our support.
Specific lists were provided for 15 children from Project Just Because, and DCF has asked for a stuffed animal and board game drive. Ascentria has shared a list of gift cards their teens have requested.
The winter holiday season is a time of year that lends itself so well to teaching our children about the value of giving to others - think about ways to involve your children in this drive. Important: We ask that you clearly label the gifts either: DCF or Child #__.
FAQ: Should I wrap the gifts? No. Please leave gifts unwrapped, but the agencies have asked for wrapping paper this year so families wrap the gifts themselves.
Can I donate gently used items? No. Please only donate new items, or we strongly encourage re-gifting of unused items!
How many items can I sign up for? As many as you want!
