CSA Fundraising Activities & Events

Fundraising is perhaps the largest aspect of the Pine Hill CSA's purpose.  Our local tax dollars go toward the school's budget to provide salaries and building maintenance, but are not enough to cover all of the extra performances, activities and supplies that make Pine Hill a top school in Massachusetts.

Read below for information on ongoing fundraising activities as well as events happening throughout the school year.  Volunteers are always welcome for these events.

This is the CSA's largest fundraiser and is held every other spring.  This year the Gala and Auction will be Saturday, May 6, 2017 and the theme will be The Great Gadspey!  Mark your calendars now!

​This is an annual race around beautiful Sherborn and is held each Fall.  We held our 5th Annual race on  Saturday, September 25, 2016.  

The event was a huge success with over 200 runners and over $6,000 towards the CSA.  Check our the Pine Hill 5K Page for Details.

An evening of family fun with a range of fun and educational games for all ages, provided by Gamewright.   Families are be able to sample any/all games during the evening, and games will be available for purchase. 

 

The Pine Hill CSA receivs 50% of the proceeds from sales!  Refreshments will also be available for purchase.   

The Spring Book fair is a 3 day event held every spring in the Pine Hill Auditorium.  There is a wide selection of books for both adults and children to purchase.  Summer reading titles are always included and teacher wish lists are available to help build the classroom libraries.   Pine Hill CSA receives 20% of all sales.

This is a catalog based order program offering an assortment of holiday and hose items in additional to a veriety of food items.  Pine Hill earns 50% of the proceeds from thsi fundraiser and we aim for 100% participation each year.

Every spring all the classrooms in Pine Hill work together to create ~15 spectacular gift backets for a raffle drawing.  Tickets are bought and the winners are chose at random.  Some favorite baskets have been 'All things Lego', 'Baking Fun', 'Movie Night', and so many more!  Volunteers are always needed to help organize the donations and create the baskets.

Every August the Pine Hill CSA works with the school administration to put together a Directory of all Pine Hill Family contact information, class assignments and bus routes. The Directory also includes a listing of all Pine Hill staff/faculty and CSA Board and Committee members. It is an invaluable resource for every Pine Hill family and all proceeds benefit the CSA.
